The 140th Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting included a presentation and a poster from two TRIPS Lab team members. The 2025 TRB Annual Meeting took place January 5-9 in Washington D.C. This meeting represents the largest gathering of transportation professionals from around the world.  

Dr. Cara Hamann presented work on Driver License Renewal Laws and Older Driver Crash Rates by Rurality, 2000–2019. This presentation stems from work related to a grant from the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC).

PhD student, Amir Ghanbari presented a poster on E-Bike Rider Safety: A Literature Review on Numbers, Outcomes, and Causes of Crashes, Injuries, and Deaths. Ghanbari's poster is a product of his Summer 2024 internship with the Mineta Transportation Institute.
