Changes to Iowa's Crosswalk Law
Wednesday, July 17, 2024
As of July 1st, 2024, all non-motorists using crosswalks are protected by the updated State of Iowa traffic code. This means that penalties are applicable to any motor vehicle driver that does not yield to individuals using the crosswalk.

During their visit, the entire TRIPS Lab joined in on the sightseeing fun and toured the Driving Safety Research Institute (DSRI), along with The Hank Virtual Environments Lab.
